In a time where every business is looking for a bright spot, we have some good news to share. Fulcrum Labs has just won Gold in the New Product or Service: Corporate Learning/Workforce Development Solution category of the 18th annual American Business Awards® (ABAs)– more commonly known as “The Stevies”.

The ABAs are the premier business awards program in the United States. This year, they received more than 3,600 nominations, and Fulcrum is pleased to join the ranks of other prominent ABA winners like Cisco, Comcast, MasterCard and Hilton in winning a prestigious “Stevie”.

The categories that recognize outstanding new products and services are among the most heavily subscribed to in the entire awards program, and are rigorously reviewed by the ABA’s panel of 230 worldwide judges.  That notion is underscored by the fact that Fulcrum was the only Gold winner listed in its category and there were no silver winners named, making Fulcrum’s win even more meaningful.

“Despite the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity, and bottom-line results. This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and compassion.” -Stevie Awards President, Maggie Gallagher

Fulcrum was recognized for it’s innovative Adaptive Learning 3.0 platform, that leverages AI, Machine Learning and data-science-driven analytics to flag underperforming content, provide actionable insights to improve the efficacy of content and the skills of Instructional Design teams, and allow content developers to push live changes to content almost instantaneously.

Highlighted in our award-winning entry was our work with Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH). In a training program with PSJH, it was able to see, firsthand, how Fulcrum’s software can help dramatically improve the efficacy and efficiency of its course and the experience of its learners, delivering outcomes such as:

  • 90% validation of course efficacy
  • Identification of problematic assessment questions, that once optimized through Fulcrum’s insights and analytics, enabled the following improvements–
    • Statistically significant content performance increases (in one instance by 75%)
    • Increased overall learner performance across the entire course by almost 10%
    • Elevated learning experience and greater trust with employees (based on post-training surveys)
    • New content development skills for the Instructional Design team and data-backed confidence in efficacy of course
  • 4x use of PSJH’s Learning Experience Platform (LXP) – for an engagement rate of 416% after content was fully optimized

“Through the thought leadership and partnership with the Fulcrum team, my eyes were opened to the business implications, new design considerations, and transformative ways their dashboards and analytics drive a personalized and adaptive learning experience that has been proven to change behavior. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Fulcrum as we design and deliver more personalized experiences in the future.” – Johnny Hamilton, Senior Design and Innovation Consultant, Talent Management and Learning, Providence Saint Joseph Health.

Fulcrum’s Adaptive Learning 3.0 platform is also proven to: reduce training times/costs; boost and verify employee confidence and skills mastery; improve employee performance and engagement; and identify those at risk of not applying the training on the job – helping organizations meet (and often exceed) their training KPIs.

“We are committed to applying cutting-edge technology and data-science-backed insights to improve quantifiable training outcomes and deliver on critical KPIs. It’s gratifying to see partners take full advantage of our tools, such as optimizing their course content, and then to be recognized for our work by such a prestigious group.” – ” Patrick Weir, CEO of Fulcrum Labs
